Wow! What a long and busy show season. Spring/summer 2017 fashion shows are over.

My hard working team and I did 20 shows, 12 in London and 8 in Paris. We also had several Lookbooks where one of my team attended plus, I had a quick trip back from Paris to do some Head Floor Judge duties at Nailympia London.

So what actually does all this mean? Well in real terms, we have been responsible for the nails of 376 models in London and 278 models in Paris. This is just their fingers! So 6540 fingernails!

As it SS there were also a LOT of toes! Surprisingly, this season has so many boots in evidence so not as many toes as fingers.

MAC Cosmetics sponsored 13 of my shows!! Amazing as I love being part of that wonderful ‘family’. BUT, MAC will no longer be sponsoring the nail team for any fashion show! Big changes. I will miss them but I will still be there!!

Kits and sessions belts. I insist that all my team carry their kit on them. Boxes and baskets and loose products cause chaos backstage. We have to work in almost impossible conditions (under tables, squeezed on the floor etc) so having the best ‘sessions belt’ is a must. It even has a clip for a rubbish bag! (beware of copies!! I can’t write a post without acknowledging my amazing team! First is Jennie Nippard! She is with me the whole time and deals with all the heavy kit lugging and supporting me every step. Plus, this season, took over my Instagram feed which resulted in me being featured in Instagram (see image below)
